Chapter Twelve

Emma wrapped her arms around Clint’s neck, praying his legs didn’t feel as weak as hers. If he hadn’t picked her up, she would have collapsed on the floor beside Grant, sharing his heat as she drifted in the aftermath of her release. Her cheeks heated when she thought about what she’d done. Straddling his face—she’d never imagined she could act so wanton, so desperate. But every kiss, every touch had increased her need until she thought she’d go insane if they didn’t put their mouths on her. Claim her as they’d been promising since Grant had turned back.

She still had a hard time believing it, despite the hour she’d spent staring out the window, rerunning the images of both men changing. Trying to work out some kind of scientific explanation only to return to the only logical conclusion. They were special. Gifted on a level that didn’t need explaining. And they were hers.

Clint carried her toward the cot at the rear of the room, waiting as Grant yanked the old mattress off the creaky frame, tossing it on the floor. He grabbed a blanket Clint must have brought in with the supplies he’d retrieved from the horses, shaking out the fabric before allowing it to settle atop the bed. She swept her gaze down Grant’s body, still in awe that only moments ago she’d felt it twitch and flex beneath her, his cock exploding in Clint’s mouth.

God. Another surprise. She’d never seen two men interact sexually before—hadn’t considered that it’d excite her as much as having them touch her. That just watching Grant give himself over to Clinton would increase the ache deep inside her core until his release had manifested within her, bringing her a sense of peace she hadn’t anticipated. Clint tsked her. “We can hear your thoughts, love. Do you really think we could love you any less? You’re our constant. What makes us want to be more man than beast. Without you…” He shook his head. “This is only going to work if you trust us. Believe that what the three of us share goes beyond physical attraction. Beyond merely sharing a bed. It’s soul deep. And you’re the other half of ours.” He smiled as he lowered them both to the mattress. “Now stop worrying and let us love you the way we’ve been picturing.”

Emma snagged her lip as her ass hit the blanket, glancing between the two men. She’d never felt so out of her element before. What if she didn’t live up to their expectations? If the fantasies they’d conjured exceeded reality?

“Not a chance.” Grant claimed the spot beside her, softly tracing his finger along her thigh. “You’re already so much more than any fantasy.”

Her mouth gaped open as she drew a rough breath. “Oh my god. You really can hear my thoughts. But how?”

Grant raised his hand, brushing across the mark he’d left on her shoulder, a predatory grin molding his lips.
